The following article is a simple step-by-step guide to help you move to the new OneSaas Retail.
The process involves:
- pausing your current OneSaas Legacy account
- creating a new OneSaas Retail account
- syncing your connections to your business needs and closing your legacy account
We have made the process easier by copying most of your existing data and migrating it into the new OneSaas. By the end of these simple steps, you will have joined the new OneSaas with a world-class standard of data security and hourly syncs for your business.
Step 1: Pause the current sync on your current OneSaas account
Pausing your current syncs in OneSaas Legacy will help prevent duplication of your data.
It is important to pause your current syncs in OneSaas Legacy as it will help prevent duplication of your data in the upgrade process.
- Click on the ‘Integrations’ tab.
- Click on the ‘Sync Settings’ tab.
- Click on ‘Manual’ to turn your syncs off.
Step 2: Register a new trial OneSaas Retail account - click here.
This process will read some of your Legacy account details and carry them across to the new account, simplifying what you need to re-configure. For security reasons, you will be asked to authorize your connections as well as re-configure some basic settings.
1. Create a new OneSaas account - this new account will become your new main OneSaas account.
2. Start the upgrade process.
After creating a new OneSaas account, you will be presented with the following screen which highlights the upgrade process.
The following steps will allow you to choose which OneSaas Legacy account you wish to migrate. This process will also copy your list of existing connections to migrate over to your new account and stop the old synchronization (if Step 1 was not successful). The upgrade process will also pro-rate your remaining billing days left when you select a paid plan in the new OneSaas (next step).
3. Enter OneSaas Legacy credentials.
Entering your existing OneSaas Legacy details will allow the new OneSaas to copy your data and migrate your connections for you.
4. Select which OneSaas Legacy account you wish to upgrade.
5. Add or Re-authorize your connections
After your connections have been moved to your new account, re-authorize connections by clicking 'connect' or add new connections to OneSaas by clicking the 'Add Connection' bar near the bottom of the page.
Step 3: Sync your new trial account. Confirm that all is working well on the new service.
The following is a side-by-side demonstration (example: Shopify and QuickBooks Online) of the integrations options from OneSaas Legacy to the new OneSaas Retail service.
The new OneSaas introduces a variety of new benefits and features which were not previously available. Customers may experience differences in the formatting of data in specific description fields. These differences improve the user experience and performance of the new OneSaas platform.
