New version of the app not as good
A new version of the connector app between Quickbooks and Squarespace was introduced a few months ago. Is it only me that is having problems with the new version or are others too ?
I migrated to the new version on 26th August and all the syncing problems have occurred since then so it's def the new version to blame.
Firstly the prefix to the order numbers has been dropped from the new version and so it seems to have synced over some duplicate sales orders because it didn't recognise that the order had already been synced.
Secondly, it doesn't sync over sales refunds if the original sale pre dated my migration date.
Thirdly, it is now failing to match Products correctly with those set up in Quickbooks thus misallocating hundreds of orders to the wrong income accounts in Quickbooks
I've wasted hours and hours on online chat to be eventually told the issue is being referred to the developers. Then I sit and wait for weeks and still waiting.
Everything was working fine before with only the odd glitch for known issues. Is this "new" version just a "cheaper substandard version" ? I am thinking of ditching it if it doesn't improve

Just a note - QB will say they have no idea about any updates ( around jan 6th Quickbooks had a layout update - which updated the intregration apps. ) - this broke almost all them .
with settings that were present before, no longer being present.
we need to be vocal about this so they sort it, as its happening with almost all them .
i use squarespace & etsy , and its just been Chaotic since the update ( THAT DID HAPPEN ) -
It's the same across Amazon, Etsy, eBay & WooCommerce.
Intuit tried to blame Amazon and told me to go to Amazon. They tried to say the apps are third party apps. I told them they were OneSaas apps and they now own OneSaas.
Amazon confirmed they have no issues. I knew it was Intuit's fault because it only happened after they forced us to update the apps.
Amazon and eBay pull through as Default Customer with no customer details, as they used to before. They also come through as 'Sales Receipt' and auto matches them. This is wrong because I match the individual invoices with the funds received in the bank account.
The new app has gone back and changed all my 'Invoices' from last September, which were correct, to 'Sales Receipts' and default customers.
It is a total mess. I have wasted so much time on this and don't know how I can reconcile the accounts.
I'm paying for a service which isn't what I am paying for.
At the end of my accounting year, I am considering moving to a new provider.

I'm glad to hear it's not just me then. I'm still waiting for all of my initial system issues to be resolved and since then, new ones have occurred. Trouble is that the only means of communication is with Onesaas online chat or email. They haven't denied that they have updated the Connector app as Trindleberry Pets experienced. They acknowledge they updated it and have referred the problems "to the developers". That was months ago and I am now very much doubting anything will be resolved. I think the online chat guys know that and are just stringing me along. The latest reply was that they think it's just a problem with my account that they are "referring to the developers" but I don't think it is. I think it's widespread. I can't trust any of the data it syncs across now. I have to spend hours checking and finding the errors. Certainly not the time-saving app it purports to be. Can anyone recommend another app that does the same job but reliable ? Thanks
