Purchase Orders Not Being Sent
Quickbooks is quickly becoming an unworkable solution for us. With all of the changes they are making many problems are being introduced. It seems like a lot without proper testing.
Today, we are having an issue with purchase orders being sent to our vendor. We noticed none of the POs had appeared to be sent. When you reopen the PO an error is displayed. "
Email hasn’t been sent.
An error occurred while sending this email. Please verify your email information and try again."
We have tried to change the address to known working emails assuming the vendor could be having an email issue. Same issue. This could be broader than just POs.
It is just unreasonable to have this lack of reliability in an accounting system that so many rely upon. Then trying to get support is basically a black hole.

I was just told "we made an update that might have changed a setting." How about not making updates that breaks the application. Quickbooks is freely making changes to their system and 1) no one knows to expect the change, 2) they're not properly tested and the application is breaking. You shouldn't open the app in the morning and find that entire menus and screen layouts have changed without warning. Companies have documented SOPs etc based on system functionality.
