Shopify Connector didn't sync cancelled orders
Hi, Shopify Connector support advised me that they couldn't sync my cancelled orders into Quickbooks as they are only able to sync refunded orders into Quickbooks. It has created additional works for my finance team as we need to manually void the orders in Quickbooks. Please improve the connector function to sync cancelled orders as well. Thanks.

Hi Becky, thank you for posting. We will take this feedback on board and evaluate further. Historically we have found that the "cancelled" status within Shopify could signify a myriad of different scenarios depending on the business, and thus have different downstream implications for accounting within QuickBooks. This is especially the case if you happen to utilize QuickBooks to track inventory/stock levels.
Furthermore, as our sync only runs once per hour, this also calls into the complex question of whether we should be syncing orders which were created and then cancelled in quick succession.Comment actions
