Woo / QBO Integration for Pre-Order Status
Hello,
We setup Woocommerce Pre-Orders a couple of months ago and have been running OneSaas Woo - QBO Integration since April. OneSaas has been working great syncing orders marked completed and refunded in Woo, however the Pre-Order plugin (an official Woocommerce plugin) adds the additional order status of "pre-ordered". Because this is not a standard Woo order status type, OneSaas is not syncing those sales receipts (I have already confirmed this in chat).
We are a small book publisher and have several upcoming titles that we would like to sell as pre-orders several months before their scheduled release date. We take the money upfront, but the orders won't sync until the books get released months later, so that messes up the bookkeepers reconciling (and may create duplicates later if the sales receipts have to be entered manually).
We like OneSaas and would like to know if syncing pre-orders from Woocommerce to QBO will be added soon. Otherwise we may need to find another solution. Pre-orders are super common with Woo, so it seems a must have to me. The Woocommerce support folks said that the only way that they know how to get pre-order sales receipts into QBO immediately is by using this Intuit Payment Gateway. However, we also accept crypto and paypal, stripe, etc, and don't want to complicate payments.

Thank you for you help!

Hi Jacob,
Thank you for taking the time to make this post. This has been shared with our team, and we are going to be reviewing various WooCommerce official plugins to see how we can accommodate via the WooCommerce API.
If we make any progress in this area we will update this post!

Hi Jacob, Sorry to say that at this point we do not have any ability to handle the WooCommerce pre-orders via the API.
We regretfully understand if this means you need to seek an alternative service. Please reach out to support@onesaas.com if you need help closing your account.
